Throughout the main UC Davis Health campus, bright green signs now appear in break rooms, nursing stations, offices, clean utility rooms, and just about everywhere else. Look closer and you’ll see that these pops of color are part of a new recycling program that ensures re-usable materials reach one destination: the recycling plant.

Farewell and Appreciation for Camille Kirk

After 18 years of dedication to UC Davis, Camille Kirk has accepted a position at The Getty Trust as their inaugural Head of Sustainability. As Kirk embarks on a new chapter in her career, Carla Fresquez, the current engagement program manager of UC Davis Sustainability, will step in as the Interim Director of Sustainability.

UC Davis, the first in the UC system to draft a roadmap for eliminating fossil fuels from its operations, now has a plan for public comment. University community members are invited to review the Fossil Fuel Free Pathway Plan and provide feedback through the end of October.
